The Venue - Woodbine


On September 26th 2015, Woodbine Racetrack will play host to the 5th annual ROAD HOCKEY TO CONQUER CANCER fundraising mega-event, benefiting The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Since 1956, Woodbine Racetrack has been a truly Canadian horse racing experience for people of all ages, and this year, it will house over a thousand participants all playing for one singular and ambitious cause: to CONQUER CANCER IN OUR LIFETIME.

Woodbine Entertainment Group is incredibly excited to be a part of this Dawn-Dusk Road Hockey marathon, and are proud to be able to help facilitate such an incredible fundraising event like ROAD HOCKEY TO CONQUER CANCER.

Parking Map/Info
There is plenty of parking available at Woodbine for this year’s event. Please click HERE for a map of parking on game day. Parking is FREE and available all day.
 
Directions
  • From Toronto Downtown
  • Travel Gardener Expressway West to 427 North. Follow 427 North and take the exit toward Eglinton Ave/Highway 27. Follow Highway 27 and follow Woodbine Racetrack Signs.
     
  • From Toronto East – NOTE** DVP will be closed Saturday September 26th
    Travel 401 Westbound to 409 / 427 North. Transfer to 427 North, and exit directly to Eastbound Derry Rd / Rexdale Blvd. Follow Signs to Woodbine Racetrack
     
  • From West
    Travel the 401 Eastbound, transfer to the collectors at Dixon Rd, allowing access to Hwy 427 North. Located 2km North of the Airport exiting east at Derry Rd / Rexdale Blvd. Follow Signs to Woodbine Racetrack
     
  • From North
  • Take the 400 South to the 401 West. Travel 401 Westbound to 409 / 427 North. Transfer to 427 North, and exit directly to Eastbound Derry Rd / Rexdale Blvd. Follow Signs to Woodbine Racetrack
Free Shuttle Service

Road Hockey will be offering shuttles to and from Woodbine on game day. Please note that you must sign up for this shuttle by emailing the road hockey team.  Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis and depart from Maple Leaf Square.

Shuttles will depart from Maple Leaf Square to Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer at:
6:10 AM
6:45 AM
7:20 AM

Shuttles will depart Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer to Maple Leaf Square at:
5:15 PM
5:45 PM
6:00 PM

NOTE: You must sign up for a space on the free shuttle by emailing: hockey@teamuptoconquercancer.ca. Please include “Shuttle Request” in your subject line and the shuttle you would like to sign up for.
